Sabbatical Minister, Rev. Kimberley Debus

The congregation has voted to hire the Rev. Kimberley Debus as a part-time sabbatical minister while Rev. Craig is on his sabbatical. During the sabbatical (August 4 through December 2nd), Rev. Kimberley will provide ministerial support to the UUSO. She will present nine services (out of eighteen) over the sabbatical. She’ll also meet with the Board, core staff, and Sabbatical Committee every month. She’ll be available for on-call pastoral care via phone and in-person pastoral meetings when she is in town. She would be available for consultation via phone to all leadership and staff during this time, as well. We hope you will find this page helpful in learning more about Rev. Kimberley Debus and her ministry.

Rev. Kimberley Debus is an ordained Unitarian Universalist community minister. (Community ministers do not serve a congregation as a called minister, but rather practice their ministry in a community setting. Rev. Kimberley describes her ministry as the Art of Meaning, with a focus on art, music, and providing support to ministers and congregations throughout our area.) Most recently she served at the Sabbatical Minister for the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House in Nantucket.
