The Small Group Ministry Program at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Oneonta provides members and friends with a unique opportunity to get to know a small number of people very well, and to be known by them in turn. Groups cultivate deep listening and trust, allowing members to feel free to express their deepest thoughts and feelings in a safe supportive atmosphere.
Groups are formed in September of each year and meet for two hours twice per month from October through June. Each group creates its own covenant: an agreement of how its members will be with one another, and chooses its own topics for discussion. A trained facilitator is a member of each group. If you would like more information about this dynamic part of UUSO or would like to be in a group beginning in October, please contact April Gates or Rev. Craig Schwalenberg through the UUSO office (see below).
