The Small Group Ministry Program at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Oneonta provides members and friends with a unique opportunity to get to know a small number of people very well, and to be known by them in turn. Groups cultivate deep listening and trust, allowing members to feel free to express their deepest thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Groups are formed in September of each year and meet for two hours twice per month from October through June. Each group creates its own covenant as an agreement of how its members will be with one another, and chooses its own topics for discussion. A trained facilitator is a member of each group.
