UUSO: A welcoming Community, nurturing spirit and working for a just and sustainable world.
Vision
The UUSO provides a visible, poositive place for the greater community to gather in love and acceptance. Without dogma or doctrine, the congregation welcomes all to challenge, question, and explore as all grow in spirit. Because beloved community is inclusive, we champion those who have been historically excluded, and we fulfill our responsibility to the interdependent web of life.
The Congregation developed the mission and vision statements in 2022 during the intentional Interim Ministry of three years. It is customary for congregations to regularly reimagin who they are and who they want to become in the future.
The vision encapsulates who the congregation hopes to be in the future. The mission Guides the congregation to the Vision.
